Mobile Cold Storage for Festivals & Outdoor Events
When you are running a festival or outdoor event, cold storage becomes a problem fast. Vendors need room for backup product, frozen desserts need stable temperatures, and organizers need a simple solution that works from load-in to teardown.
SNS Rentals delivers electric refrigerated and freezer trailer rentals throughout Greater St. Louis for festivals, fairs, concerts, food truck rallies, and other outdoor events. Our trailer gives vendors and organizers one dependable place to keep product cold, organized, and ready to serve.
Why Organizers Choose SNS Rentals for Event Cold Storage
Festivals and outdoor events put a lot of pressure on cold storage, especially during Missouri summers. Vendors need backup space, beverage service can move fast, and frozen products need steady temperatures from load-in through teardown.
SNS Rentals gives organizers and vendors one dependable on-site solution. Our electric refrigerated trailer is easy to set up, runs on a standard 120 volt, 20 amp dedicated circuit, and gives you precise temperature control from 0°F to 50°F for refrigerated or frozen product.
It is a practical fit for outdoor events because it offers 440 cubic feet of storage capacity, optional shelving with 160 square feet of flat storage, and on-site setup and support. With no diesel fuel required and no hourly meter charge, it is a simpler and cleaner option for short-term event use.

FAQs
-
In general, perishable refrigerated foods should be held at 41°F or below, and frozen items should stay at or below 0°F to maintain quality and safety. Event organizers and vendors should follow local temporary food event guidelines and their own health department permits, but having cooling equipment that can reliably hit and hold those ranges makes compliance easier.
-
A refrigerated container is basically a large shipping‑style box (often 20 or 40 feet long) with a cooling unit attached, designed to sit in one place for weeks or months. It offers very high capacity and is often used at warehouses, construction sites, or during longer‑term remodels.[ravagroupcontainers +2]
A mobile refrigerated trailer is smaller and towable, more like a walk‑in cooler on wheels. It is easier to position on event grounds, sized for short‑term use, and set up for walk‑in access by staff and vendors rather than palletized storage.
-
For safety and performance reasons, the trailer should stay where it is placed once it has been delivered, leveled, and plugged in. Mobile refrigerated trailers are designed to be positioned on relatively flat ground, close to power, and then left in place so they can maintain a consistent temperature and remain stable for staff going in and out.
If you realize you need the trailer in a different spot during your event, contact SNS Rentals to discuss options. In most cases, any repositioning needs to be handled by our team, not by vendors or event staff. Towing or moving the trailer without coordinating with us can create safety issues, damage power connections, and interrupt cooling.
When you book, it helps to think through placement ahead of time: choose a reasonably level surface within reach of a dedicated 120 volt, 20 amp outlet, with enough room for our vehicle to get in and out for delivery and pickup.

SNS Rentals operates out of Red Bud, IL and we serve the Greater St. Louis area. We typically deliver our mobile cold storage trailer to:
• St. Louis City and St. Louis County
• Metro East Illinois communities
• Nearby towns and suburbs in the surrounding metropolitan area
If your event is farther out, it does not automatically rule you out. Travel distance, timing, and how long you need the trailer all factor into whether we can serve your location and what the delivery fee will be.
When you inquire, tell us your event address or venue name. We will confirm whether we can deliver there, share any travel charges, and talk through delivery and pickup windows that fit your schedule.
